Pink Shirt Day February 2017

Pink Shirt Day February 2017

At BRAVE, we understand that bullying is complex issue that deeply effects children, families and schools. Pink Shirt Day was originally organized in 2007 in Berwick, Nova Scotia, and has since become a day of national awareness surrounding bullying and peer violence. Developing a meaningful community conversation about bullying helps us all to create safer communities.
This Pink Shirt Day, we stand with the victims of bullying. We acknowledge that many children who engage in aggressive behaviors have been bullied themselves, or have witnessed bullying as a normalized part of their lives. BRAVE offers compassion and practical support for families, schools and children affected by this widespread problem. If you, your family, or organization need tools for dealing with bullying issues, contact our team at 902 422 3777.
